Quality Assurance Engineer, First City Monument Bank

10/2022 - present | Lagos

  • Test Automation: Reduced turnaround time for regression tests on APIs and Uls from an average of 48 hours to 30 minutes with automated test suites using Postman and RestAssured for APIs, Selenium and Cypress for Uls.
  • Test Design & Implementation: Strong experience of identifying negative test cases and edge scenarios that often lead to software failures. Achieving proper test coverage to ensure high quality at release.
  • Test Techniques: I employ various blackbox test techniques - Boundary value analysis, Equivalence partitioning, Use case testing while testing to maintain a standard of more than 95% successful bug-free releases in every quarter.
  • Continuous Integration: I collaborate with DevOps engineers and Developers to incorporate higher level tests into CI/CD pipelines, to augment unit testing. I have worked with CI/CD pipelines implemented using Jenkins, Azure Pipelines.
